Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a Flight Test - Avionics/Electrical Technician IV in Savannah, GA to lead and perform operational tests and repairs of avionics and aircraft systems, ensuring defect-free results. You will troubleshoot, document findings and support safety and quality standards.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, six years in avionics/electrical fields or two years schooling plus four years related experience; A&P, FCC, or NCATT licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and four (4) years related experience.
• A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred. Other FCC License preferred. Other NCATT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates superior technical skills in avionics and acft systems testing and troubleshooting.
• Teaches installation and functionally testing of electrical/avionics components and systems perEngineering specifications, drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Oversees performance and compliance with engineering changes and modifications as required.
• Sets up and operates necessary test equipment and conducts functional and operational tests.
