Job summary

E&E Manufacturing Co, Inc. in Tennessee is seeking a press operator to set up and run transfer and progressive presses to customer specifications. You will read blueprints, operate dies, monitor quality, and keep tools and workspace clean.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts with calipers, adjusting tooling heights, and following safety standards; experience with GMS, PLCs, and die protection devices is a plus. High School diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two or more years of related Press operating experience is preferred.
• Welding, Laser Cutting, Plasma Cutting, and/or Water Jet Cutting background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examines finished stamping pieces to verify conformance with specifications using gauges.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows safety regulations.
• Ability to run progressive and transfer dies and overhead crane.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and maintenance instructions.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, self-motivation, and multi-tasking abilities.
