Job summary

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude to operate machines and perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, drawings, and safety regulations.
• Basic math skills for measurement and adjustments.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively.
• Experience as a press operator (minimum 6 months) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate presses 1–5 and rotate to all presses as needed.
• Follow standard work and meet changeover time limits to minimize downtime.
• Create detailed production schedules and coordinate with set up and tool & die teams.
• Train new press operators and report progress to leadership.
• Perform safety checks and preventative maintenance on machines; ensure safe, quality output.
