Job summary

ARMOR-IIMAK is seeking an Automation Technician for the night shift at our Hebron, KY plant. Work from 11pm to 7:30am, Monday through Friday, maintaining and repairing automation equipment, PLCs, and systems used in our manufacturing lines.

You will interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, work with variable frequency drives, and document work orders while contributing to continuous improvement programs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a maintenance capacity in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics; CAD experience a plus.
• Flexibility to work an altered schedule to meet business needs.
• Team player and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and install systems and components on industrial machinery following specs.
• Perform mechanical repairs including bearings, pneumatics, piping.
• Document maintenance work orders with labor, parts, and task details.
• Improve PM programs to maximize uptime and productivity.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment per policies and regulations.
