Traditional Medicinals, based in Rocky Mount, VA, seeks an Automation Systems Technician for the 11pm–7:30am shift. The role focuses on operating and maintaining automated machinery, monitoring systems, and driving continuous improvement to minimize downtime.

You will work with maintenance and engineering teams, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain accurate records. The position is onsite and requires a proactive, safety-minded approach in a three-shift operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training a plus.
• 1+ year experience operating and maintaining automated machinery and systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Responsabilités

• Operate and monitor automated machinery to ensure efficient production.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, coordinating repairs with maintenance teams.
• Maintain records of equipment performance and repairs.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineering teams for process improvements.
• Replenish materials used by automation equipment to prevent downtime.
• Provide training and support on proper use of automation equipment.
• Enforce GMP and safety standards; participate in safety teams.
• Utilize CMMS, ERP and quality software to optimize production.
• Maintain compliance with GMP regulations and internal quality standards.
