Job summary

MEDLOG Cold Storage/C&K Holdings seeks an Automation De-Slatting Operator to safely run the automated de-slatting line for inbound/outbound protein products. The role emphasizes food safety, quality, and efficient workflow with strict HACCP/OSHA compliance.

The candidate will manually handle cases, monitor equipment, and ensure proper positioning for processing while maintaining clean, sanitary work areas during an overnight shift (Mon-Fri, 11pm-7:30am).

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, production, or automated equipment experience preferred.
• Experience operating electric pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment is preferred.
• Ability to safely work around automated conveyor systems and production equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify and communicate equipment issues.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Comply with food safety, quality programs per BRCGS.
• Operate and monitor the automated de-slatting system for safe workflow.
• Load pallets and product onto the automation line per procedures.
• Remove debris from incoming loads and maintain housekeeping.
• Inspect pallets and product for damage or quality concerns; report issues.
