Job summary

WPSFresh is seeking a reliable 3rd Shift Sanitation Employee to maintain a clean and safe refrigerated production area overnight. You will help prepare equipment and facilities for the next production day, perform sanitation tasks, and ensure compliance with GMPs and safety procedures.

The role requires standing, physical cleaning work, and the ability to work Sunday through Friday 10:00 PM–6:30 AM in a cooler environment.

Qualifications

Sanitation experience is helpful but not required.
Ability to work Sunday–Friday 10:00 PM–6:30 AM.
Comfortable working in a cold/refrigerated environment.
Willing to perform physical, hands-on cleaning tasks.
Able to follow written procedures and safety instructions.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Capable of safely handling cleaning chemicals and PPE.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize food processing equipment, conveyors, lines, utensils, and areas.
Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning.
Wash, scrub, rinse, and sanitize floors, walls, drains, ceilings, and other areas.
Remove food residue and waste from production areas.
Follow sanitation procedures, SSOPs, and Master Sanitation Schedule.
Perform pre-operational inspections and maintain sanitation logs.
Identify and report equipment damage or safety concerns.
Work with Production and Quality teams to uphold sanitation standards.
