Job summary

Aerotek in Harrodsburg, KY seeks a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automotive production equipment on a night shift (6 PM–6 AM, 2-2-3). You will work with 480V electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC-controlled machinery to minimize downtime and sustain safe, efficient operations.

The role requires a practical, multi-skilled technician with ability to read schematics, use test equipment, and support PM tasks during shutdowns twice yearly.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field preferred; degreed candidates encouraged.
• 3–5 years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong multi-skilled background in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Reads electrical/mechanical schematics and ladder diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting on various voltage controls and DC systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC and robotics systems to minimize downtime.
• Read schematics, test circuits, and verify operation with test equipment.
• Support PM tasks and participate in shutdown work twice yearly.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve reliability.
• Document maintenance activities and parts usage.
