Job summary

Nemera is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Automation for the 3rd shift (6:00 PM – 2:30 AM) in Buffalo Grove. The role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing assembly, subassembly, printing, and packaging equipment in a complex manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a hands-on technical role with experience in automation, electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC troubleshooting. High School diploma required; SAP and MS Office skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical, hands-on position.
• Experience with complex assembly automation required.
• Experience in electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work area and report unsafe conditions.
• Read measuring devices, gauges, and inspection tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical malfunctions.
• Input maintenance work orders into SAP.
• Support TPM activities and continuous improvement.
