Job summary

Nemera is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Automation to monitor, troubleshoot, and repair a range of assembly, subassembly, printing, and packaging machines. This 12-hour rotating day shift role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, TPM activities, and safety compliance in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in a technical role, experience with complex automation, electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and PLC programming.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of hands-on technical experience required.
• Experience with complex assembly automation required.
• Experience in electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics recommended.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting needed.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and climb ladders as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Read and interpret measuring devices and inspection tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Identify product quality issues per quality policies.
• Respond to machine alarms and diagnose root causes.
• Follow 5S guidelines and safety procedures.
• Input maintenance work orders into SAP/CMMS.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical, electrical systems on diverse machines.
• Repair and adjust electrical controls and robot arms as needed.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Leader to minimize downtime.
