Job summary

Nemera is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Automation for a 12-hour night shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) in Vernon Hills, IL. The role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairs across assembly, subassembly, printing, and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, TPM activities, CMPMS entry, and safety compliance in a cGMP environment. Reading gauges and participating in improvement teams are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical, hands-on position.
• Experience with complex assembly automation required.
• Experience in electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe conditions.
• Read, use, and interpret measuring devices, gauges and inspection tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Identify product quality per Quality policies and procedures.
• Respond to machine alarms and address root causes.
