Job summary

Skechers is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of complex automated warehouse systems. The role focuses on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with emphasis on high-speed sortation equipment and conveyors.

Pay range provided and overnight schedule may apply. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Advanced electrical and mechanical maintenance experience with automated systems.
• Experience with NFPA 70E safety standards.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Experience with warehouse control systems and conveyors.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical and electrical failures on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to input/output level, diagnose processor faults.
• Service motor control panels, starters, relays, and fuses.
• Install and repair sensors, encoders, bar code readers, and VFDs.
• Install and wire 480VAC/208VAC 3-phase motors with brakes.
• Diagnose pneumatic systems including compressors and valves.
• Service hydraulic systems including pumps and cylinders.
• Perform fabrication work with hot work safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot conveyor systems and high-speed sortation equipment.
• Navigate Warehouse Control Systems and HMIs for diagnostics.
• Work with electrical systems from 12VDC to 600VAC following NFPA 70E.
• Read schematics and blueprints for troubleshooting.
