Job summary

Skechers USA Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the Fri-Sun night shift at our Rancho Belago, CA distribution facility. This role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing complex automated warehouse systems to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, strong electrical/PLC skills, and the ability to work at height and lift up to 50 pounds. Safety and NFPA 70E compliance are essential, with a 3/12 shift from 6pm to 7am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Experience in industrial maintenance with automated systems is expected.
• Proficient with electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical failures on complex automated warehouse systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to the Input/Output level under supervision.
• Diagnose and repair motor control panels, including starters, relays, breakers, and fuses.
• Maintain and repair sensors, photo eyes, proximity switches, and bar code readers.
• Repair and wire dual voltage motors (480V/208V 3-phase) with brakes; diagnose speed reducers.
• Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including compressors, valves, actuators, cylinders.
• Fabricate using cutting, drilling, welding per hot work safety standards.
• Service multiple conveyors and sortation systems; operate WCS and HMI for diagnostics.
• Work safely with electrical systems from 12VDC to 600VAC; read schematics and drawings.
