Job summary

ResMed Inc. in Calabasas, CA, seeks a Reliability and Maintenance Technician Level 2 to maintain manufacturing processes and automated systems.

You will work hands-on with robotics, PLCs, HMIs, sensors and perform preventative maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and continuous improvements. The role requires strong electrical and pneumatics knowledge, ability to read CAD drawings and IPB diagrams, and trouble-shooting complex automated equipment in a high-volume facility.

Qualifications

• Technical vocational training or BS degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in a related manufacturing role preferred.
• Experience with medical manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and information and safety hazards.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance plans for automated equipment.
• Perform hands-on maintenance and keep PM docs up to date in the Quality System.
• Escalate abnormal or critical situations to management promptly.
• Troubleshoot using blueprints, schematics, IPB diagrams and electrical drawings.
