Job summary

ResMed is seeking a Reliability and Maintenance Technician Level 2 to support automated manufacturing systems, robotics, PLCs and sensors. You will ensure system reliability, minimize downtime and contribute to continuous improvements.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read CAD/IPB diagrams. A manufacturing background and familiarity with Allen Bradley systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent technical and operational knowledge of automated equipment and systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex automated systems controlled by PLCs and microprocessors in a high-volume work environment.
• Must be highly proficient in pneumatics and electrical systems.
• Ability to read CAD/IPB diagrams and electrical circuitry diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all necessary safety protocols and information hazards are followed.
• Ensures effective preventative maintenance plans and schedules for automated equipment and systems.
• Must be hands on and keep PM documentation up to date within the Quality System.
• Keeps management informed of escalating abnormal or critical situations.
• Utilize complex blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties as developed.
