Job summary

Freshpet is seeking a Maintenance Controls Technician for the night shift to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and computer-based control systems that operate machinery on the production line. You will work with maintenance and production teams to optimize processes and ensure smooth operation.

Responsibilities include commissioning, calibration, and repair of environmental-control systems, reading diagrams, and adhering to electrical codes and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Technical Degree and/or Electronics/Industrial/Electrical Certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and general instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and computer-based control systems on the production line.
• Identify and resolve issues with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and automation components.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production staff to optimize processes.
