Job summary

Kimball Electronics Indianapolis is seeking an Automated Systems Technician for night shifts to monitor and maintain highly automated manufacturing lines and supporting equipment. You will work with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLCs, Cognex Vision Systems, and Fanuc robots to ensure quality, cost, and delivery goals for our medical device manufacturing processes.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, protocol execution, and close collaboration with Engineering to support regulatory

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to compose professional documentation (Write protocols, work instructions, engineering studies, etc.).
• Ability to manage time and projects effectively while meeting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain highly automated manufacturing lines and equipment.
• Support QA and regulatory/government requirements.
• Assist Engineering in testing procedures and maintaining validated state.
