Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, or industrial environment.
• Ability to safely operate packaging equipment and perform machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to monitor product quality and packaging accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain automated packaging and case packing equipment to support continuous production.
• Review production schedules and prepare equipment, materials, and packaging supplies to meet production requirements.
• Monitor packaging codes, dates, pricing, weights, and product appearance to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain adequate supplies of packaging materials for assigned equipment.
• Perform machine setup, changeovers, adjustments, sanitation, startup, operation, and shutdown activities.
• Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Monitor film cutoffs, bag seals, and package integrity to meet quality specifications.
• Ensure packaging equipment operates at established production standards and speeds.
• Handle, sort, and rework product runoff according to procedures.
• Maintain clean equipment and work areas, including sanitation of machinery and surroundings.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards to leadership or maintenance.
