Job summary

nVent in Anoka, MN seeks a Production Lead to support daily production goals, resolve line issues, and maintain workflow. You will reduce waste and coordinate staffing while serving as the main contact for the assigned area team.

The role requires leadership abilities, 1 year of production/manufacturing experience, and proficiency with Windows tools and work order systems. Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday shifts, 6pm–6:30am, are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year production/manufacturing work with lead experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Skill in Work Order management.
• Knowledge with Windows: Word, Excel, Outlook and manufacturing or inventory software.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to coach staff and enforce policies.
• Ability to train operators on standard work and continuous improvement.
