Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Analytical Laboratory Supervisor to lead a team of technicians in the Casa Grande, AZ plant. You will oversee analytical testing of materials and finished products, ensuring quality and timely batch release while maintaining GMP standards.

You will drive continuous improvement, support root-cause investigations, and partner with Quality, Operations, and Technical teams to enable production goals and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering discipline and three years of management experience desirable.
• Strong understanding of GMP/FDA requirements and laboratory compliance.
• Experience with analytical techniques and data review in a manufacturing or lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of laboratory technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Oversee testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure quality and batch release.
• Prioritize activities and resources to meet production schedules and objectives.
• Review and approve laboratory data, documentation, and results for accuracy and compliance.
• Support investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA initiatives.
• Manage equipment maintenance, calibration, and lab readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement in methods and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, high-quality products.
