Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; 4+ years of professional lab experience if no degree.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing, lab, or quality/safety oversight.
• Proficiency with project planning tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a single shift of a multi-shift lab operation open 7 days a week.
• Lead shift team to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI) including EHS, Quality, and Productivity.
• Direct staffing, training, coaching, and performance reviews for 3–6 staff on shift; maintain a safe lab.
• Ensure test methods comply with plant, division, and corporate guidelines; participate in audits and CAPA.
• Manage budget-related headcount, OT, and expenses; drive cost improvements.
• Coordinate shift starts/changes and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
