Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma City seeks a Certified AUA - Advanced Unlicensed Assistant for Labor & Delivery during night shifts. You will work under RN supervision and perform routine patient-care tasks as part of a collaborative team.

The role requires monitoring patients, recording vitals, and executing physician and nursing orders. Compliance with BLS and AUA certification is essential for progression within the department.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic nursing techniques and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to maintain effective working relations with others.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health status and implement the plan of care.
• Record vital signs and monitor patient condition.
• Perform sterile procedures and wound care as directed.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Transport patients as needed and keep rooms clean and stocked.
• May precept new CTAs.
