Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Experienced RN for Labor & Delivery (Nights) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The RN I/II/III role supports patients from admission to discharge, collaborates with physicians and staff, and upholds OU Health’s values of Patient First and Excellence.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license in Oklahoma (or eNLC), an ADN or BSN, and BLS certification. The position offers sign-on bonuses, loan repayment, and relocation assistance for qualified

Qualifications

• Education: ADN or BSN.
• RN license in Oklahoma or multi-state (eNLC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience levels align to RN I/II/III as described in job posting.

Responsibilities

• Aligns behaviors with OU Health values and maintains nursing professional practice standards.
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned patient or group of patients.
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, noting changes in physician orders.
• Assists physician in examination and minor diagnostic procedures.
• Obtains and monitors physiological data and intervenes when necessary.
• Administers medications as prescribed.
• Initiates and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products.
• Delivers patient care safely and competently.
• Informs patient and family of hospital procedures and care plan.
