Job summary

Skyland Trail seeks an Adolescent Residential Counselor for the 3rd shift (11:00 pm – 7:30 am) to provide supervision, education, and support to clients and the clinical team within the Adolescent Program.

You will monitor behavior, document progress, and prepare shift-change summaries while upholding safety standards and program policies. A Bachelor’s degree and clinical experience in mental health are required; Master’s degree preferred, with CPI and crisis management skills highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related field (i.e. Psychology, Social Work, Counseling) and/or 2 years of clinical experience in the mental health field.
• Preferred Qualifications - Master's Degree in related field (Counseling, Social Work, Education, Psychology).
• Licensed Clinician, License-eligible clinician or working towards clinical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to adolescents in the Residential Adolescent Program.
• Document clients behavior, progress and needs; communicate with clinical team.
• Prepare shift change summaries and incident reports as required.
