Job summary

Skyland Trail in Georgia seeks an Adolescent Residential Counselor for 1st Shift at the Adolescent Campus in Chamblee. You will supervise and support clients, document progress, and collaborate with the clinical team to implement wellness plans and safety procedures.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent clinical experience, with preferred Masters and licensure. Skyland Trail offers holidays, PTO, health benefits, a 403(b) match, and PSLF-qualified employer status.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field or 2+ years clinical experience.
Masters degree preferred and licensure/licensure-eligible
Licensed Clinician or working toward licensure preferred

Responsibilities

Provide clinical, residential, program support and supervision to clients in the Adolescent Program.
Monitor and document clients' behavior, location, and progress for clinical team.
Prepare shift change summaries for residents and staff.
Document resiliency goals and progress for wellness plans.
Lead activities of daily living assessments and train clients in ADL skills.
Support residents in interpersonal and social skills development.
Complete incident reports per policies and maintain safe environments.
Transport and supervise clients during off-campus activities and appointments.
Facilitate residential groups and coordinate evening/weekend activities.
Support and direct residents during community meetings; co-facilitate group/family therapy as needed.
