Job summary

Casa Grande Academy is seeking a qualified nurse to join our residential treatment team in Casa Grande, AZ. The role involves monitoring client health, responding to medications and treatments, and providing critical health counseling within a therapeutic environment.

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, you will assist in maintaining a calm, trauma-informed setting and support crisis intervention as needed. This is a full-time night shift position with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Two years nursing experience of direct patient care with children/adolescents (preferred in-patient residential).
• Basic computer skills for documentation and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Monitor physical health needs of clients and responses to medications/treatments.
• Provide health counseling and crisis intervention.
• Assist in maintaining a therapeutic environment as directed by Nursing leadership.
• Assist the Director of Nursing as requested.
