Riverview Behavioral Health Hospital in Texarkana, AR seeks a dedicated RN Admissions night shift to ensure a smooth admissions process for our patients. You will review documentation, coordinate with physicians and care teams, and help families navigate the intake experience.

The role emphasizes empathy, attention to detail, and compliance with payor pre-authorizations, while maintaining high-quality behavioral health care in a 62-bed facility serving adults, geriatrics, and adolescents.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state.
• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical or observational experience.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review medical documentation for all admissions and obtain admission orders.
• Facilitate transfers and assess referrals from hospitals and facilities.
• Respond to inquiries and provide facility information and recommendations.
• Conduct assessments to determine level of care and coordinate with care teams.
• Coordinate the admissions process including consent and patient belongings.
• Perform insurance verifications and secure initial pre-authorization.
• Monitor patient status and ensure timely receipt of clinical information.
• Complete pre-admission assessments and communicate dispositions to families.
