Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• One year clinical or observational experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review admissions documentation and complete medication reconciliation.
• Facilitate emergency transfers when needed.
• Review referrals and assess medical/behavioral acuity within timeframes.
• Conduct pre-admission assessments and determine level of care.
• Coordinate admissions with medical/psychiatric staff and obtain initial authorizations.
• Verify insurance benefits and initial pre-authorization for treatment.
• Maintain accurate medical records to facilitate payor authorization.
