Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must hold AR RN license or be license eligible.
• CPR and Handle with Care/Verbal De-escalation offered upon hire.
• Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Must be able to work as a team with all staff/coworkers and maintain the ability to treat all patients with respect.

Responsibilities

• The Admissions and Referral Registered Nurse (RN) renders professional nursing care to patients within the assessment and admission process.
• Practices ongoing patient assessment through observation of physical and behavioral symptomatology.
• Documents all data accurately in a timely manner.
• Participates in formulation of individual care plans for all patients and implements plan according to hospital policy.
• Communicates pertinent data to other service areas as needed.
