Job summary

Orlando Health's Wiregrass Ranch Hospital in Wesley Chapel, FL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on nights. The role focuses on high-acuity patient care, rapid assessments, and complex interventions.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, implement care plans, monitor critical equipment, and ensure patient safety while upholding Orlando Health policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Florida RN license or eligible to obtain.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
• 1+ year nursing experience in ED or acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates advanced nursing skills in high-acuity ED care with rapid assessment and interventions.
• Monitors and interprets patient data and vital signs, adjusting care accordingly.
• Responds to life-threatening events following established protocols and collaborates with physicians.
• Documents patient care accurately and communicates care plans with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Maintains patient safety, comfort, and advocacy while upholding Orlando Health policies.
