Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
• RN license required; BLS/ACLS preferred.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• 5–8 years related work experience.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient throughput by assessing unit needs and allocating resources.
• Leads Code Help responses with Admission Facilitator and ED.
• Directs bed utilization when Admission Facilitator is absent.
• Provides clinical consultation, support, and mentoring to staff.
• Communicates changes in clinical practice, policies and guidelines.
• Responds to staff performance issues and ensures staff fit for duty.
• Participates in staff evaluations as requested by the nurse manager.
• Rounds on clinical units to assess acuity, staffing, and patient concerns.
• Responds to patient complaints and documents interventions and outcomes.
• Responds to patient care emergencies and educates staff on emergency response.
