Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. is seeking a Machine Service Technician to maintain and troubleshoot advanced additive manufacturing equipment in a 24/7 shop environment. The role focuses on mechanical assembly, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to issues on laser metal printers.

This shift covers Friday through Sunday and alternating Thursdays, 6:00pm–6:30am, with opportunities to work across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems and to contribute to safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial machine service technician role or related field.
Experience with electro-mechanical and pneumatics assemblies.
Ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
Preferred: 4+ years building automated equipment.
Preferred: ability to read mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical drawings.
Preferred: proficiency with hand tools.
Preferred: wiring, crimping, soldering, and ESD protection.
Preferred: familiarity with design tools and standard/metric systems.

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule preventative maintenance on the Additive Metal Printers throughout the facility.
Prioritize maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
Maintain 3D printing systems across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and fiber laser components.
Collaborate with Operations, Machine Build and Engineering to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Read mechanical blueprints to perform maintenance duties.
Provide status updates to management on assigned projects.
Assist with installation of equipment and machines in production.
Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures.
