Job summary

VulcanForms is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the Process and Applications Engineering team in advancing metal additive manufacturing for our medical customers. This hands-on role translates part designs and process requirements into repeatable print builds while maintaining equipment readiness, process control, and documentation.

The hours for this role are Monday–Wednesday and every other Thursday, 6am–6pm.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in additive or advanced manufacturing.
• Familiar with 3D printing concepts; LPBF experience a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain LPBF printers.
• Prepare print jobs using internal printer software.
• Support applications development by executing print builds on schedule.
• Assist with printer installation, qualification, and validation (IQ, SAT, OQ, PQ).
• Monitor print quality and escalate issues.
• Maintain records and process data for traceability.
• Collaborate with engineers to refine workflows and parameters.
