Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. in Devens, MA is seeking a Machine Service Technician to keep our additive manufacturing equipment running at peak performance. You will perform mechanical assembly maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct routine preventative maintenance on industrial laser metal printers.

This fast-paced shop floor role involves exposure to moving parts and loud equipment. You will collaborate with Operations, Machine Build and Engineering to resolve problems quickly and minimize downtime

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in an industrial machine service or related field.
Experience with electro-mechanical and pneumatics assemblies.
Able to troubleshoot complex systems.

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule preventative maintenance on the Additive Metal Printers throughout the facility.
Prioritize maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
Maintain 3D printing systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and fiber laser systems.
Collaborate with Operations, Machine Build and Engineering to resolve issues promptly.
Identify and communicate updates to TPMs during hands-on observation.
Provide status updates to management on assigned projects.
