Job summary

VulcanForms is seeking a skilled Machine Service Technician for weekend night shifts to keep advanced additive manufacturing equipment running smoothly.

You will perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic maintenance and troubleshooting across our 3D printers, collaborating with Operations and Engineering to minimize downtime. Prior experience with electro-mechanical systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience, preferably in an industrial machine service technician role or machine-building department, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Experience with electro-mechanical and pneumatics assemblies.
• Familiarity working with complex systems and a strong ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventative maintenance activities on the Additive Metal Printers throughout the facility.
• Prioritize maintenance activities to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Maintain 3d printing systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and fiber laser systems.
• Work collaboratively with Operations, Machine Build and Engineering to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Identify and communicate updates to TPMs that may be required through hands on observation.
• Provide status updates to management on assigned projects.
• Assist with installation of equipment and machines in production.
• Reading mechanical blueprints to perform maintenance duties.
• Adhere to and support Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures.
