Job summary

VulcanForms is seeking a Machine Service Technician to support its additive manufacturing equipment on the shop floor. You will perform mechanical assembly maintenance, troubleshoot electro-mechanical issues, and conduct routine preventative maintenance on metal 3D printers.

The role operates in a 24/7/365 setting with your shift covering Monday through Wednesday and alternating Thursdays, from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in industrial machine service or related field.
• Experience with electro-mechanical and pneumatics assemblies.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot issues on complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventative maintenance activities on additive metal printers throughout the facility.
• Prioritize maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain 3D printing systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and fiber laser components.
• Collaborate with Operations, Machine Build and Engineering to resolve issues promptly.
• Identify updates to TPMs based on hands-on observation.
• Provide status updates to management on assigned projects.
• Assist with installation of equipment and machines in production.
• Read mechanical blueprints to perform maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures.
