Job summary

Haxtun Health in Haxtun, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Care Unit on the Night Shift (5:30 PM – 6:00 AM). You will provide critical overnight nursing care, perform comprehensive assessments, monitor patients, and collaborate with the hospital team to ensure safe, attentive care.

Qualifications include Colorado RN license and a BSN or ADN with at least one year of experience; TNCC, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain within 120 days).

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with at least one year of relevant nursing experience.
• Current Colorado RN license.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) / ACLS / BLS / PALS certifications or ability to obtain within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Be the Silent Sentinel: monitor overnight patients in ACU and ensure comfort and safety.
• Master the Midnight Hours: perform comprehensive assessments and continuous monitoring.
• Collaborate Through the Calm: work with hospital team to coordinate overnight care.
• Respond with Nightly Resolve: provide emergency treatments as needed during night shift.
• Document the Night's Story: maintain accurate overnight care records for handoff.
