Job summary
Haxtun Hospital District is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Extended Care Unit to provide compassionate, high-quality care for residents in a long-term care setting. The role includes assessment, medication administration, care planning, and coordination with the healthcare team to support resident safety and quality of life.
The position offers a Nights shift with differential; starting pay range is $38.00/hr to $49.40/hr depending on experience, with full-time status and opportunities
Qualifications
- BSN from four-year college or university or ADN program with minimum of one (1) year related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current Colorado RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Preferred Qualifications: TNCC, ACLS, PALS
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate outcomes.
- Complete admissions and ongoing assessments; administer medications and treatments.
- Deliver patient and family education and coordinate care with the healthcare team for safe transitions.
- Maintain compliance with clinical standards and protocols and respond to changes in patient condition.
