Haxtun Health in northeast Colorado is seeking an RN for the Acute Care Unit on the Night Shift. The role focuses on delivering high-level nursing care during overnight hours from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM, with emphasis on assessments, monitoring, and safety.

Candidates must hold an active Colorado RN license with a BSN or ADN and at least one year of relevant experience. Certifications (TNCC/ACLS/BLS/PALS) should be obtained within 120 days of hire. A warm, community-focused hospital awaits you.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license required.
• BSN or ADN with at least one year of relevant experience in acute care.
• TNCC, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required or obtainable within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight nursing care and comprehensive patient assessments in the ACU.
• Perform continuous monitoring and respond to emergencies during night hours.
• Collaborate with hospital team to ensure safe, coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Uphold patient safety and comfort throughout the night shift.
• Communicate patient status and needs to the day shift to ensure seamless handoff.
• Maintain competency with equipment and policies in the Acute Care Unit.
