Job summary

Kids for the Future in Leadville, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts in the ER and ACU floor. The role involves 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, delivering compassionate care in a critical access hospital setting.

Required credentials include a Colorado RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS; TNCC, CEN, NRP are preferred. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and community health in a mountain-town environment.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN license or a participating state license in the National Licensure Compact.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from American Heart Association are required.
• TNCC certification is preferred; CEN and NRP are preferred.
• Good organizational skills and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Work 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM in the Emergency Department and ACU floor.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department and ACU.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff.
• Stock and clean ED rooms and patient-care areas.
• Participate in quality initiatives and hospital policies.
• Adhere to nursing standards and state regulations.
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
