Job summary

ArcBest Corporation is seeking an Account Verification Coordinator to ensure correct AIMS account numbers for ABF Freight customers and proper routing and ZIP code applications. The role includes applying AV Billcode results, handling special account coding, and auditing accounts for accuracy.

You will research customer information, maintain high accuracy in a fast-paced environment, and communicate findings to ABF/ArcBest personnel while supporting continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Less than 1 year experience in ABF Coding processes preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Knowledge of department functions and coding systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign or verify the correct AIMS account number to all parties of a shipment.
• Apply all Account Verification rules and customer exceptions.
• Research and verify customer information: name, address, city, state, and zip codes.
• Verify freight bill origin and destination routings.
• Research and apply potential accessorial bill codes.
• Update AV Bill Code Maintenance results when time permits.
• Audit specific accounts for accuracy.
• Identify automation opportunities and report to the manager.
