South Middlesex Opportunity Council, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Professional to oversee shelter operations during working hours, ensuring a safe and secure environment for clients and staff.

The role requires vigilance, accurate logging, and proactive engagement with clients. You will report to the Program Director, participate in regular meetings, and uphold confidentiality and program policies while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Competenze

• CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for clients from low-income backgrounds.
• Ability to respond effectively in crisis situations.
• Basic computer skills for training records and documentation.

Mansioni

• Oversee shelter operations during each shift and maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain safety of clients and staff; document and report incidents promptly.
• Review logs and coordinate with other staff about information from previous shifts.
• Keep logs and files for each shift; report issues to Program Director.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions; uphold client confidentiality and boundaries.
• Ensure rounds are completed every 15 minutes and engage clients to address needs.
