Job summary

Sunset Ford St. Louis is seeking Night Service Technicians, including entry level and experienced, for both part-time and full-time roles. The evening shift from 3pm-11:30pm offers a premium wage differential and a guaranteed schedule.

We value enthusiasm, dependability, and a strong work ethic. No experience is required for entry level; training is provided. A valid driver’s license and basic mechanical aptitude are needed to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• We will provide training.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Possess a clean and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Must have mechanical tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive maintenance and repairs.
• Address manufacturer safety recalls and perform them per the Ford workshop manual procedures.
• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly.
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles.
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
