Job summary

Sunset Ford St. Louis is hiring Night Service Technicians for entry level and experienced candidates. The 3pm–11:30pm shift offers a premium wage differential over day shifts, with a monthly wage increase of over $300 for joining the evening shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• No experience required; training provided.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Possess a clean and valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of automobiles and basic math/reading.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn new technology and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive maintenance and repairs.
• Address recalls and perform them according to Ford workshop manual procedures.
• Test systems and components for proper operation.
• Isolate problems causing issues.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to complete tasks.

This shift from 3pm-11:30pm comes with a premium wage differential when compared to the same role during typical day shifts.

Candidates will see more than $300 per month increase in wages by joining our evening shift.

Responsibilities:

• Perform automotive maintenance and repairs
• Address manufacturer safety recalls and perform them per the Ford workshop manual procedures
• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
