Job summary

Sunset Ford St. Louis is seeking Night Service Technicians (entry level and experienced) for both part-time and full-time roles. The 3pm-11:30pm shift offers a premium wage differential with more than $300 per month increase in wages.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience required; we provide training.
• Ability to read and comprehend written information.
• Possess a clean and valid driver’s license and be able to drive manual transmission.
• Knowledge of automobiles and basic mechanical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive maintenance and repairs.
• Address manufacturer safety recalls and perform them per Ford procedures.
• Test systems and components to ensure proper operation.
• Isolate problems and determine root causes.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of failures.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and hand tools as required.

This shift from 3pm-11:30pm comes with a premium wage differential when compared to the same role during typical day shifts.

Candidates will see more than $300 per month increase in wages by joining our evening shift.

• Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
