Job summary

US Foods is seeking Warehouse Team Members to safely and accurately pick customer orders in a multi-temperature warehouse, with Sunday-Thursday shifts starting between 5pm and 7pm and relocation to Aurora by mid-2026.

Starting pay is $18.30 per hour with increases to $37.06 per hour plus incentives based on performance. Benefits include health insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday; weekends/holidays may be required.
• Recent experience in high-endurance or highly physical activity preferred.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders. Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment.
• Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free.
• Deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink wrap palletized orders.
• Team up to clear aisles of debris and return pallet jacks to charging area.

This position will relocate to Aurora by mid- 2026.

Our Current schedule is Sunday-Thursday starting between 5pm-7pm.

Shifts are aprx. 10-12 hours long.

We help you make it! Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. Selectors start @ $18.30/hr., but move up to $37.06/hr.- plus incentives once selecting at 97% or above in the dry area, cooler, and freezer.

Main Ingredients of the Job

• Safely and accurately select customer orders. Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet
• Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment
• Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free
• Efficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wraps palletized orders
• Team up to clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging area

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required

What You Bring To The Table

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday. At times weekends and holidays will required
• Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred
