Job summary

US Foods is seeking Warehouse Team Members in North Dakota to safely and accurately pick customer orders, build pallets, and prepare shipments for delivery. The role involves operating a pallet jack, performing pre-shift checks, and ensuring accuracy and safety across multi-temperature environments.

Base pay ranges from $24.27 to $27.85 per hour, with a $5,000 retention bonus and additional overtime and incentive compensation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English for trainings, safety, and reporting.
• High endurance for physically demanding tasks and long shifts.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Experience selecting large-scale orders in warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely select and wrap pallets to meet productivity standards.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate a pallet jack.
• Move products from racks to pallets as directed by order selecting software.
• Verify correct product is selected and damage-free.
• Deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
• Team up to clear aisles and return pallet jacks to charging area.

Our selector associates start at $24.27 / hour.

$5,000 retention bonus!

As applicable, this role will also receive overtime compensation, retention bonus, incentive compensation based on productivity and quality, shift differential, and freezer premium.

Schedule

• Sunday - Thursday
• 6:00 p.m. start time
• 8-12 hour shifts
• Avg. 40-45 hours per week

Main Ingredients of the Job

• Safely and accurately select customer orders. Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet
• Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment
• Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free
• Efficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wraps palletized orders
• Team up to clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging area

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required

What You Bring To The Table

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday. At times weekends and holidays will required
• Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred
