Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Security Specialist for 3rd shift to oversee the safety of our properties in Milwaukee, WI. This on-site role requires driving to multiple locations, monitoring CCTV, investigating incidents, and ensuring secure access control.

The position is temp-to-hire and hours are 11pm–7:30am CT, Monday through Friday. Qualifications include a high school diploma and proven security experience; strong CCTV, alarm, and access control knowledge; and excellent

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a security or surveillance role.
• Strong understanding of CCTV systems, access control, and alarm systems.
• Excellent observational and investigative skills; reporting and documentation.
• Ability to stay calm and decisive in high-pressure situations.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Camera Monitoring: monitor live footage to detect suspicious activity.
• Incident Investigation: respond to incidents, document findings, and report to management.
• Property Surveillance & Security: patrol properties and check security systems.
• Access Control: manage access points and maintain key control.
• Emergency Response: respond to emergencies following protocols.
• Collaborate & Report: coordinate with law enforcement and teams; prepare reports.
