Job summary

Allied Universal in Dedham, MA is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Patrol Technology. You will monitor sites, perform patrols, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and media personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols at media and technology facilities to deter incidents and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs/reports per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Maintain a professional presence and clear communication with site contacts, guests, and leadership.
