Job summary

Allied Universal in Richmond Hill, GA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Reception Screening to safeguard clients at a busy logistics and distribution site. You will monitor access points, screen visitors and deliveries, and provide courteous customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

The role requires at least 6 months of security-related experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

6+ months of security-related experience is required.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Guard card or license is preferred.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site-specific access control procedures.
Inspect packages, parcels, and other items entering or leaving the facility as directed by site policies and applicable procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, facility access points, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
